I thought I'd ever be referred to as an author...
By the end of 2019, we started to hear about a new virus that was spreading in China. By February, 2020 news was out that the deadly virus was spreading rapidly and was even found in India. In the second week of March 2020, I was all prepared to go to Mussoorie to deliver a talk at Lal Bahadur Shastry National Academy of Administration LBSNAA to address the IAS officers who were attending their mid career development training program. But with the new rapidly spreading virus all around, my family especially my nephew Dr Prasanth Prathigudupu strongly objected to my travel. They were worried about my safety. I too had to worry about the safety of my family, and the possibility of me bringing home the virus. Reluctantly, I sent my apologies to LBSNAA officials and cancelled my trip.
From the 3rd week of March 2020 onwards, even our office advised us to work from home due to the fast spread of COVID-19. First time in my life, I started to work from home (WFH). Initially, we thought that it would only be for two weeks. But now we entered into our second year of WFH.
Adapting to the new reality and the zoom era, I quickly got busy in overcoming unexpected situations. Much of which I learnt while arranging many programs for swimming and wheelchair basketball sports. Hence, I could cope with that shock soon and started finding ways to continue my activities (personal, professional and social activities).
