I had the privilege of participating in a panel discussion on "Women in Sports" at the Hyderabad Literary Festival (#HLF2023) alongside Mr. Ayush Puthran, a Cricbuzz journalist and author of 'Unveiling Jazbaa - A History of Pakistan's Women's Cricket'. The session was expertly moderated by Mr. Harimohan Paruvu, an Indian author, former cricketer, and motivational speaker. Mr. Paruvu provided an insightful introduction to both my book, #SwimmingAgainstTheTide, and Mr. Puthran's book, bringing to light the important messages we sought to convey.
I was also fortunate enough to meet Ms. Priya Ramani, an Indian journalist, writer, and editor, as well as several other authors. It was my first time participating in a literary festival as an author, and I am grateful to Dr. Vijay Kumar Tadakamalla, the Director of the Hyderabad Literary Festival, for the invitation to speak at this prestigious event.
